Default Two dealers three Fsports...

Still got another 4 weeks until my car arrives so I was bored yesterday decided to take a trip down to the Lexus dealer. The small Lexus dealer near my house had two IS250 Fsports. The dealer I have my car on order with had one! Each dealer had rows of the regular 2014 IS models.

Pretty sure this is not the case in the Cali area but here in Houston, TX there are no cars. Do the Cali dealers have IS 350 Fsports sitting on their lots?

"Consumers are responding. F Sport models have accounted for more than 40% of sales for the redesigned 2014 IS sedan, and nearly 50% in the Los Angeles area. F Sport models account for 25% of GS sedan sales, but less than 10% of sales of the more comfort-focused LS flagship and RX crossover."

You're welcome. This seems to be true in LA - "We're showing F Sport in all our advertising, without mentioning it specifically," Smith said. "When we launched the IS, the F Sport was the one everyone wanted." The ads are sexy too -- definitely they want to attract younger buyers.

Take with a grain of salt. Financed? Trade in? Add on? Leasing? Lots of ways to create illusions. Notice people touting great deals are always short on details. Don't let it eat away at you.

$500 under invoice is a smoking deal but like Glashub stated it's not the whole story.

Yah, went by Westside Lexus since that one is close to my house. They had a silver and a grey one. Sterling McCall had a grey one.

It just sucks I gotta wait 4 more weeks but oh well it will be here sooner or later.

Yep, most are very short on details.

Out of 3 dealerships, all two hours apart from me, none had fsports on the lot. I had to get wait a week to get one. Got it for 400 over invoice and an acceptable amount for my trade in. I'm on the central coast of California.

Okay people posting about your deals. I got $2250 off of MSRP on the 1st week it was for sale. Took hours and countless email to play 6 dealers off one another. Most wouldn't budge on a cash offer.

No financing. No trade in. No add ons. Paid cash after selling my other car at CarMax (that car was paid off). I got more at CarMax by far then the top offer from a dealer.

Sorry, I was going to start a new thread about it when I pick up the car on wednesday.

Black on gray. All options besides ml audio and vgrs. Those are special orders at the moment.
add-ons include, backup cam, rear cargo net, etc etc. Sorry I don't have the full details.

I dropped half and the other half was a loan through my credit union.

Dealer came back 500 less than what carmax offered for my paid off car. So I pulled out the carmax offer and they matched it.
