Default IS350 without nav?

New guy here, been lurking around for a bit and decided to sign up today. Im in the market for a new car soon and Ive narrowed it down between IS350 AWD vs 2015 TLX SHAWD. I dont have a 6 figure salary, just have a love for driving. So ideally, if I were to get a IS, it would definitely be a 350 for the extra power and AWD since I live in the midwest. Don't really need nor would I want to pay for the F sport or navigation package. On lexus' website, I can build a 350 AWD without nav but I'm not able to find it any where. So now, Im wondering if this is even an option? And I dont think I could settle with the base 250 AWD without nav.

Call this an educated guess, because I don't KNOW the answer. It's theoretically possible to get one without navigation, but Lexus isn't really making them. I was initially looking for an F-Sport without navigation, which the website said could be done, but every F-Sport at every dealer came with navigation.

Net result is that I now have a navigation system. I think their calculation is that people who don't want the nav system will still buy the car if it has nav on it. At least in these early months.

Shure you could get one, but it would be special order with 4 months delivery time.
If you don't mind the wait, get it to your specs, otherwise get one with nav and shorten the wait with months.

does that mean I can still negotiate a price with the dealership or am I stuck paying MSRP for a special order?

You can always negotiate, but the dealer might be more keen to sell vehicles in stock, and give you a poor discount on your special order.

Special order (my IS350 is ordered w/o Nav.)

And YES negotiate! It's actually easier to get a great deal with a special order than a car on the lot right now (it's like found money for the dealership.) Get a lot of quotes from several nearby dealers and play them off each other. I went up to 5 hours away. While I might not buy 5 hours away, nothing motivates a general manager more than a solid offer in hand.

Cheers,
J
