Default Leather vs. NuLuxe

Good, bad, ugly?

I really want an F-Sport, but have come across some anti-NuLuxe comments.

Anyone been able to thoroughly compare the two during real-life use?

I'm concerned for material breathability / sweating.

Maybe someone has a Leather car and has received a NuLuxe loaner during a hot summer day or vice versa?

Thank you.

Great to hear NuLuxe posed no problem in 110 degree weather when compared to your former leather vehicle! Thanks!

What percentage tint do you have? I'm thinking to go with a simple / classy 50%. Not much heat protection, but I have it on another vehicle and like the look...

Looks great and doesn't even look like 20's!

Sorry to be off topic, but what are you seeing MPG-wise?

Debating between the 250 and 350, but care about MPG's...

Go 350 all the way!!!!! If not u will regret it

From what I've read the 250's are getting anywhere from slightly worse to 3mpg better the extra 100hp is well worth the sacrifice

NuLuxe will actually be more durable in the long run. It's very good for what it is (synthetic) compared to MBZ or BMW synthetic. The only reason I prefer leather on the IS is because it has ventilation

Drive both cars but just on the safe side say you will get 5-10mpg better with the 250 ( like I said some people say they have been getting anywhere from 19-23mpg ) I think you will come to the conclusion the extra power is worth it

What are the negative things about NuLuxe? I haven't been in the loop haha.

My car has been to the California desert 7 times in the past 2 months that I've had the car, no issues so far?

Free way driving, with 1 passenger I average about 28.7mpg, I have 350

Negatives are that it's a synthetic material that doesn't 'breathe' as well as natural leather, such that in heat it may cause you to sweat more than leather, but if what you state is the case, they've probably created a superior material by now. Otherwise, 28.7 MPG in a 350!? Wow.

What brand tint is this? Your 20% looks like my 35%. My rear is 18% and its black like limo tint.

I have NuLuxe and its 100 degrees here sometimes. But I use my AC instead of killing myself sweating
