Default Playable file types on the 3IS

Does anyone know what file types are playable on the 3IS system? I'm wondering if it's possible to play xvid/avi or other movie file types (while the car is parked). I've seen in other posts that for music, MP3's are playable via USB stick. Or what about DVD movies?

I would try different files/discs myself, but I'm still anxiously awaiting my special order.

On the 2IS... with Mark Levinson, came a DVD player.

Does anyone know if DVD player is standard on the 3IS, or only with Mark Levinson?

Only the Mark Levinson has DVD capability.

Really?
Ah, in Sweden you can't get nav without ML. That's why my information is a bit off.

In South Africa we get Non ML with DVD playback and Nav as standard on the IS 350 F Sport.

I don't think it supports any video files other than commercial DVDs. The USB ports don't even support Audio MPEG2.5 at present even though it's used in a lot of places. Like on most of my TuneIn Radio files...
