losing the TRAC for 3 secs "defeats" the TRAC and VSC by Lexus standards aka there is still some intervention during excessive wheel slip. This method supposedly chits everything thing off completely.

^ i'd like to know as well.

I do know that doing the pedal dance, you cannot use cruise control.

I'm assuming it disables other electronic driving features?

If you turn off them one thing it will pop up is the pre-collusion system will turn off

I'll have to try it again. I remember one time I disabled the driving nannies and when I tried to get the rear end to step out, it did for only a split second before traction control or whatever took over and stopped that sliding. I was definitely disappointed. However, I don't recall if I had TC off via the pedal dance or the button that time...

Did you told down the TC button for 3 seconds or just press it? At a Lexus event at ViR we definitely were able to power slide (and spin out) the car just by doing the button method.

Yeah, held down the button for a few seconds so the yellow light over on the left side of the dash turned on along with the TC Off warning.

I had another instance where I just pressed the button once quickly to turn of TC and it automatically turned itself back on by the end of my hard-acceleration run.
