Is there any way to display a digital clock on the home screen? It's driving my wife crazy not having a quick clock to reference while flying down the highway.
I couldn't find this topic being discussed anywhere, so if it's been discussed already, I apologize.

Yes.
Should fit nicely inside the analog clock bezel. jk

My sales associate knows all there is to know about everything. When he was pointing out how "awesome" the new analog clock is, I immediately asked if the digital time is displayed anywhere in the car. He quickly said no. It drives me crazy too. I've just been focusing on the minute hand or using my phone.
Is it easy to remove the clock? I bet there is a pretty good market for a digital replacement. I would buy one. If I wanted an analog clock I'd buy a cuckoo clock.
I would prefer to not replace the analog clock - having the time on the Nav home screen seems like a simple solution. Since this is our first Lexus - are Nav system upgrades that include new functionality common?
I'm so glad to know is not just me... I hate to have to "think" about what time it is when I see the clock. Having the Analog Clock on the dash looks nice and elegant, but it is NOT efficient. The more the driver has to look into the dash and think about it, the more chances he/she has to get distracted. Sad thing is, all new Lexus models are coming with the new Analog Clock. It is not just the IS.
What Lexus should really do, given the fact that is starting to incorporate digital meters (like the tach on the F models), is to use also a digital clock that can be switched between analog meter or digital numbers. In fact, doing this, it would allow them to use different backgrounds as well, so they could use the Lexus logo, or the F logo if it is the F model.
Otherwise, I think the Main Display should always have the option to have a digital clock showing, and also the date if you want to as well.
Hopefully Lexus will eventually learn to listen to REAL people and not to some selected "customers" that have no clue about what is reality and what is marketing.
