Every Vossen Owner's Nightmare.....

wow just wow. for such expensive wheels they are obviously not that great of quality. i have only ever owned one expensive set of wheels, SSR SP3 wheels for 3 years on my wrx before my 3IS. Similar price wheels but damn, i planned to buy some vossen wheels but this just turned me right off.

What amazes me is that something like this could happen without knowing about it. Someone else drive your car maybe? Valet parking? Did you not lose any air in that wheel? Thin tire wall or not, those wheels usually are fairly strong. Reached out to Vossen to get their thoughts?

Heat it with a torch? LOL, that's pretty old school. The right way to do it is with that machine in the video. Back in the days, I took my wheels to advance wheel repair in Santa Ana. They had a oven to heat the wheels to get it soft enough to bend back into shape.
They then put it on a spinner with a metal guide to see if the wheel were true.
I never heard of vossen. Do they make expensive copies like iForge and DPE?

I had vossens on my g37 coupe with no issues and I'm considering them for when I pick up my 3is.
