you guys think it is worth doing the leather "protection plan" the sales guys tries to talk you into? I go in next week and can't decide...

Never buy anything they try and sell you. It's like most warranties these days that are after the fact. Promise the world and end up having to fight tooth and nail when you need to use it. There are some good ones, but it's hard to decipher those from the bad sometimes.

You tilted the front down and it stayed the same? Doh! My 2013 IS with leather used to crease like that if I tilted up the seat so I assumed it was the same with the 2014.Originally Posted by mimi1468

Also, the wrinkles are at an awkward place - I didn''t think that they were caused by someone heavy sitting on the seat - as they're one-sided.

That's not wrinkles. My GS F Sport Cabernet leather has wrinkles in the side bolsters. That's cellulite!Originally Posted by mimi1468
These are pictures from the day of delivery (I feel like they've gotten worse since then). And yes, I'm annoyed because I didn't cause the wrinkles and I'm surprised that a new car would be delivered like that.

In all seriousness, I would get Lexus to correct that.

Heres a photo of mine. It's only on the side driver seat. What do you guys think? Warrant a trip down to the dealer and complaint?

That is definitely not normal or acceptable. Take it back, it's defective.
Warranties on Toyotas and Lexuses are pretty much a waste. Most people pay way more into them, then ever get back. They are basically extra dollar scare tactic sales. Skip.

That doesn't look bad. I won't even react on that. Enjoy your new car.Originally Posted by mimi1468
