Default Using remote to put windows down

Has anyone asked the dealer to do this? If so, do they charge you?

I had it done on the GS. They will do it one time for free. I also was able to have them come out to me and perform the work as they just bring a laptop. Enjoy!

It's free for first time at one dealer but if I go to another dealer can I do it again?

How does this work on the remote. There's four buttons. Would it work by double clicking on a certain button? I want this done on my car now......

ok so i was at the dealer getting my smart card key programmed (I'll take pics and post a new thread on this new toy later tonight) and asked for the windows. They said it would cost half and hour of labor...

But I asked for them to throw it in with the key programming cost and they did it. You can ask for the moonroof to open or just tilt up, I did tilt up.

Also, for the people that have it done, does your front windows go down faster than the rears?

I was looking at the Smart Card and saw that the previous Smart Cards are cheaper. Is there a different between the 2014 one and can you program a previous year model for the '14 IS? Thanks.

Just came back from changing the blinkers at the dealer. I saw how they did it especially for blinker. They didn't even use computer to change setting but used a cheat sheet from GS 2013 to enter into service mode using wiper blade and other combination. It took a couple of tries since it was kind of complicated. I was surprised they didn't use computer, but other settings they need to access ODB port.

What did you change about your blinkers?

Went from default blinking 3 times when you lightly touch turn signal switch to 5 times. This is a new feature in 2013+ Lexus.

So Lexus finally got on board with this? This has been an option on Nissan's and Infiniti's for years. I'll put this in my pocket for when my ride comes in! Thanks.
