Will it play .mp3s burned on a DVD?

On my old 08 Lexus, it would play MP3's burned onto a CD but not on a DVD.

Does anyone know if the new 3IS will play mp3's burned onto a DVD? I sure hope so since the 6 disc changer is no longer available.

best thing to do is try it. Wouldnt it just be easier to use the USB though?
