How often are you in S/S+ mode?

I was curious about this because I could see myself in this mode a lot as another member stated in another post. I sure did in in the test drives! I read a review article where the author stated that S+ mode was best reserved for the track or smooth paved roads. Do you agree? Have you noticed a big difference in S vs S+? Gas mileage?
I am hardly ever in either S or S+ modes. 95% of the time I'm in ECO mode to get the best mileage, and I'm still only getting around 19mpg.
That said, the other 5% of the time is spent in S+ mode and ripping through the canyons
