It's supposed to be the new body, with the current engine transmission combo. Like what they did on the GS and IS.
I don't think they are keeping the 2013 style as a 2014 model if that was what you are stating.

2014 ISF would be carry over. When Lexus is ready to reveal the new body they will but 2014 stays exactly the same. Dealers don't even have ISF anymore they will only take special order for MY 2014.

Uh, MBenz and BMW both do it for their AMG/M models. Neither the C63 nor the M3 were available in the current generation bodyshell until at least 12 months after the donor car was released. Go try and buy an M3 now; it's not the F30 body type. And the new M3/4 won't be immediately available after the release of the 4 series coupe either.
