Yeah I am not sure what's going on with the random posts of other models, but I am glad to see folks getting themselves some early holiday gifts. Congrats.

 

I think it happens to people on the forum on their phone. If you scroll down past the last post of the thread you're in, it goes right into a "related thread" that often isn't even in the same model subforum. So if you're not completely paying attention you could easily post your comment into a random thread like this.

On my phone now, and the next related thread below was a 2IS interior photograph thread.

 

You are definitely onto something with that theory. It could even happen on desktop, too. I am not a big fan of that related thread feature.

It can happen with non-phone users as well, you just have to pay attention to what post you are replying to. Is there an option to disable suggested related threads?

 

I find the feature annoying myself as it gets the page messy.

 

I absolutely hate that feature!
