Default Canadian 2014 IS Pics

I dropped by Open Road Richmond and saw the 2014. There are some differences between the Canadian and US models.

One of the noticeable ones is that headlight washers is standard and no option for LED projectors. Taken with my cell, didn't have my camera on me.

Nice! Are you planning to order one? I went there a few weeks back when I was to order IS250 AWD Executive F sport.

They offered a 300 $ off MSRP. Regency Lexus offered a better deal so I ordered from them. They also have a USB is250 awd for test drive

oh and the headlamp washers don't look too good :s

Yeah the headlamp washers are not concealed!! One of the services reps I know said to have it taken to taken to a body shop and remove the washers and put plugs in its place! lol!

according to lexus canada's website the LED headlights are only available on the is350 AWD Excecutive package.

I hope someone eventually come's up with a paint matched cap to sell to us canadian's so we can remove those stupid headlamp washers.

It's actually on the 350 AWD Executive, not the 250 AWD as I just checked.
http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experience...ategory=option

The odd thing is that the Lexus Canada catalog which I have makes no reference to the LED Headlamps at all on any of the packages.

Actually if you know that the same headlamp washers are used in LFA but painted instead of shiny metal, you may find them not that bad

Actually LED headlamp is available as an option for regular IS in Canada. Unfortunately, it is only in the top package (Executive package) for regular IS350 AWD.

Yup, that's what I posted in my earlier reply.

Wondering if one could mod the car and switch it to use LED lamps! Jeff?

Haha, I didn't know. So the gauge cluster, wheels, and now headlamp washers stolen from the LFA. WOW!

Personally, doesn't bother me too much, but what I may do is color coordinate them with the bumper at some point.

Pics of the USB would be nice since every dealer seems to have the Ultra White or Obsidian.

Would be expensive. By the way, I finally came across one with LED headlamp (regular IS350 AWD) in a showroom and there is another 3IS with HID headlamps. After opening the hood, you should see the covers to the back it of the headlights are different. - the HID headlight has a metal back cover whereas the LED headlight has a regular plastic one that you see in 2IS.

Yes, it is quite consistent across the dealerships. Ultra White is THE F Sport IS color.

I haven't been able to look extensively into it (I am), but it looks like if you were to buy the parts I think you'd need to do the conversion to LED's from a dealer in the USA that gives a good discount, you'd probably be looking at about $2800 for the parts to do the conversion.

Those headlight washers look hideous lol. I really hope those don't come standard.

They do!! Standard as per Canada's cold spec. Even the actual catalog shows them as well (but the catalog has both US and Canada models in the picture with disclaimer)
