I'm coming from a 385hp V-8 Genesis and before that 3 307 hp V-Tech Acura's. -- I don't feel underserved by the IS350. I did feel underserved by the 250. Just my .02 and a little bit about the engines I'm accustomed to.

yes, it absolutely does. 250 has abysmal throttle response at any RPM, 350 does not.

I never felt anything but superb power response from my GS350 in power mode, at least under 110 mph. On the other hand GS250 I didnt feel anything, no power or torque.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Can I be the only person in the world who wasn't impressed by the difference in the two engines? Maybe I test drove a lemon or something...

Just came back from the dealership with some positive news. Bad news is all the White/red combo 350F sport are claimed and will need to wait for new shipments. Good news is that I was told if I were to show up after Thanksgiving, the discounts can range from $2k-4k for the base model. The salesman was reluctant to mention anything about the Fsport package incentives, mumbling that the larger discounts will be for the standard 350s. Anyways, I made the choice to wait it out until then, which should allow me some time to save up for it.

Congratulations on the decision! I definitely think you made the right move Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and before you know it, you'll be driving around in the hottest new car out there and will be exactly what you really want!

Thanks. It's been a while since I got a new car so hopefully it's worth the extra wait. Now to find that Fast Forward button.

Good for you on getting closure and sustaining the urge to jump on one now for which you'd have to compromise on.

The only time my 350 feels as anemic as a 250 under 4500 RPMs is if I have my 350 in Snow mode and the 250 in power mode.

Default same predicament

Ahh man I'm faced with this same issue....is 250 F vs base is 350

Trying lease...I love the F sport package...Trying get neb with rioja but so far lease price has been out of my budget smh awaiting a better quote for 350 f sport (will post numbers once I get them)

What was the verdict on this? 250 engine numbers disappointing indeed......plus may go turbo next year...but as a dd I'm thinking it may suffice in nyc.....I dunno :/ smh

You're in a predicament - I think you will be disappointed either way you go. If you like the 350 and the F-Sport, anything short of both will not do the trick (my opinion).

My wife had two IS250s - she would point out to me every 350 we saw on the road. We went with the 350 this time - she's ecstatic.

Sorry I don't have better news.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Seems like IS350 F Sport is what you want. Does it have to be 3IS? 2IS350 F Sport isn't that bad if that is a possible option for you.

whoa!!! I got my IS350 F for 45k out the door, then again dealerships/sales are easier to work with in nor-cal when it comes to prices.
