Default Ordering without Navi?

I was at my local dealership today asking about the 2014 and asked if it would be possible to order a 2014 IS250 RWD without Navi, only luxury or F-sport.

Was promptly told that this order couldn't be made and that Lexus was only making them with the two packages (either F-sport with nav or luxury with nav).

Anyone else heard this?

where are you located. In canada you have the following options. Only the F-sport Premium or the Luxury Premium come with Navi. But if your trying to get certain feature's but don't want Navi you have no choice but to buy their packages. It may be different in the US.

Standard
Premium Package
F-sport Package
F-sport Premium (NAV)
Luxury Premium (NAV)

That is not true as Navigation is an option package separate from the Luxury or F-Sport packages. If you order the Mark Levinson sound system then you must have navigation as well.
It could be that Lexus has provided the first batch to your region built that way. It is that way for the Eastern Region. I have attached the April production report (provided by my salesman) which shows the build for the region. 9506 is a 250 AWD, 9516 is a 350 AWD, FJ is F-Sport package, BM is blind spot monitor, NV is navigation, LL is Luxury package, LT is luxury technology package.
Your dealer should be able to locate one or you could special order it that way.

You should be able to get the f-sport no nav if you want. I test drove a IS250 F-sport no Nav so I can assure that is a possible combination. It was black with gray interior.

whether it's true or not, dealers will typically tell you whatever to get you to buy, based on what they have available and know they can get. i would first try another dealer, and second call lexus corp.

Dealer's are not going to be anxious to special order these cars now when they can sell everyone that rolls off the truck at close to MSRP. Put yourselves in their shoes. Give it a few months and then try to special order.

Between the two, I'd take the luxury. The only allure to me about the F-sport is the gauges really, so my preference would be for the luxury.

This makes sense and, unfortunately, I may have to wait until perhaps closer to christmastime to see if they'll make it without the Nav.

This does not make sense. They want to sell them any way they can. If you're not willing to buy one on the lot, they aren't going to want to lose a sale by refusing to order one.

I went to a dealer who told me the same thing which I know is a BS. I just wait until there is one available at the price I am willing to pay.
