I think you are looking at a RWD in California where his is an AWD. The options are priced differently based on RWD or AWD.

Its possible those were added as separate options. I'll check tomorrow when I go back to take some interior pics.

Now one more question... After haggling on my trade in on my 2008 IS350, I ended up getting $19,000 for it. I was considering selling it on my own even before I was in there, but I figured with the tax savings in equals about $21,500. My sales guy told me if I sold the car on my own it would be ok, but whispered it to me like he didnt tell me that.. I checked around my area and there are only 4 other IS350's for sale all going for $24,999.

I have about 51,000 miles and its in great condition. Do you think it would be a problem if I sold it to someone else before I picked up my new car and then paid them the difference?

I already signed all the paperwork and they are paying off the remainder of my loan, which was just a few thousand.
I was offered $18,000 in trade for my '08 350, same mileage. My salesman basically said that they did not want it as all they sell are 250s and it would only go to auction. I am going to sell it myself as well.

The CA - MSRP base price IS350 RWD car is $2,235 less: do to it not having an AWD transmission..

The IL car is $2,235 more.... But then it does not have VGRS or ML.. so shave off another $1,540

Also, factor is $65 tire inscrease for ALL SEASON 18" tires on AWD..

CA - RWD F-Sport is $47,700 with VGRS & ML

IL - AWD F-Sport is $48,460

Either way the AWD costs more... even with less options..

The MSRP prices will be the same for every model & build in the USA..

Regarding selling your IS, I would at the very least take it to CarMax to see what they can give you.

I have an 06 IS350 that I am planning to sell next month to get a Q50 Hybrid Sport AWD (from an out of state dealer) and have been following pricing for used IS350s and under $20k for your low mileage car looks too low.

Also, did you try out the back seats and if so, what is your impression of the added room back there?
I did sit in the back seat, as this was actually a huge selling point for me, I was able to sit comfortable in the back seat with the front seat pretty much all the way back. I'm 6'0 and 190 pounds and I wasnt eating my knees! Also it was amazing to see the back seats fold down!

Carmax quoted me $18k for my 2008 IS350 56k miles about two weeks ago. Too low. I have it on autotrader now hoping to snag over $20k for it.

Go stand next to it daily to keep the troglodytes and neanderthals from pawing at it.

Congrats!

If it were me, I would go in there and surround it with red velvet ropes.

I don't think your car comes with Lane departure warning. It's not available for F-sport.

That is correct. Lane Departure is not available with F-Sport.

It's BSD (Blind spot monitor). Lane departure warns the driver when you started drifting from lane. It's different from BSD. It's only available on Technology option.
