I just read an article in the Savannah Now Times for Hilton Head Lexus. They are one of the first dealerships to receive an IS 250 for display.
They interviewed Jeff Braken, the group VP and GM of Lexus and he is quoted as saying that the IS will begin full sales the first week of July and Lexus expects to sell 3,000 IS 250s per month.
The light is visible at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks.
I already have a 350 F-Sport RWD on its way in being that it needed to be special ordered. I could only hope it is in the first shipment.

June 24th I've signed up for an F-Sport autocross + a competitive comparison course with BMW and others. Finally we will have a timed autocross and the winner gets a hot lap in the LFA with a professional driver!

Three of the dealerships in Norway got their demo cars yesterday. Had a look at one today, and the finished car looks really nice! Now I'm just waiting to get a test drive, and then delivery of my own

My dealer here in TX tells me they have some at the LA port ready to be shipped. He tells me they will be here in 2 weeks. He also tells me not all of them are sold. Not sure what to make of this. I have no experience with this dealership.

I spoke to the general manager at my local dealership and was told that they would be receiving 2 or 3 new IS for display and test drives only. Actual vehicles to sell would not be available until July. I was also told that the delay had to do with the Lexus Enform software and that Lexus chose to stop production rather than issue a software update after the fact.
