Based on those 4 cars the lexus and Infiniti look the best followed by BMW with Audi being far down on the list.

thanks mr. burns for useful comparison shots.

3 series looks a bit weak but i do love the short front overhang compared to the others.

all great cars though!

F30 looks very nice when you are close to it, you can appreciate the subtle but aggressive lines... from far away you wont notice it though. At least imho... anyway, overall it looks good on the outside (interior is another story). A4 is all about front lights, without them it would be pretty generic as profile pics show.

All look fine, all will sell, all will appeal to different people. It is clear the IS is the most styled and bold here where the others have gone with more evolutionary styles. The Q50 is also quite a bit larger than the others as its a "tweener" .

I think the IS is cleaner and more professional looking than the Q50, but more interesting and trendy than the 3er and A4.

As to the lowering... I was about to lower my 2IS then when snow came I was once again reminded how useful that 4x4 look is :-)

The front wheel wells are in line. Not a 100% perfect comparison, but does the job.

If only the height of the car was like it's in that picture.... guaranteed the wheel gap is about 3 times that of the pics

Loving the 3IS more and more as I see more pics.... honestly, the lines of the 3IS look way better than all the competition.

Yeah its funny, I think the 2IS aged as well as a car could. Still seems fresh and doesn't old. The new one really looks crisp, a nice update.

Only the door mirrors have LED turn signals. The back up lights are also standard bulbs.

Do you have any idea why Lexus does not have LED lights for their turn signals in the back? I feel like a lot of the Japanese car maker are taking this approach.

I think a lot of it has to do with cost and longevity. It's easier to replace a turnsignal bulb than it is with a whole LED board.
