And will Deep Sea Mica be available still?
No info on that. Since the 3IS will be June of 13, the next F should be out a year to year and a half after as 15 model. As for the current F, I'd imagine it follows similar to how BMW offered the new 3-Series alongside the old E90 M3. No info on the IS-C.

I driven a 2GS before which is my father's...!
I never driven a 4GS before.

Both are too bit too big for my taste! Maybe I would test drive one for fun if I got the chance.

What I mean't about the 4GS, is test drive one and you'll like the paddles and transmission. Shifts are much quicker than the 2IS, and it does blip the throttle. The paddles while in D act like gear limiters, but the paddles while in S act like a triptronic, something the 2IS does not do. I suspect the 3IS will gain the same from it's older brother

Oh cool. Yup that's what I'm looking for.

My ideal (it will never happen!!) would be the F1 like gear boxes in the past where the gearboxes is was fully automatic (banned years ago because wanted to limit driver aid) where it was all mapped such that, the driver never had to do touch the paddles at all because it did it for them as if the driver was shifting it themselves. The driver could still the the paddle if they wanted to do it themselves like semi automatic or reprogram the paddles for special shift purposes.

I will totally switch out my rear seats for folding ones if its easy. That's one feature I hate lacking! But, seeing as it seems to be totally differ totally from 2IS I doubt it.

Wow, I came across this forum by just doing a google search. Thanks for all the info, especially Hoovey..seems like you work at Lexus or something!! Just one question i had..i thought the Hybrid version for the 3IS was coming out for sure? I must be mistaken then eh, as it seems that it is far from confirmed?

The hood lines fade into the grill. No space between them. Also tighten the upper portion of the grill as its smaller.

There is a hybrid planned but that will not be initially offered. NA Sedans will lead the pack

So maybe I somehow missed this before, or maybe you are teasing with this.. You say naturally aspirated sedans will bow first, so are you saying there are other powertrain options coming? (Not talking about ISF)

Hoovey mentioned it many times before. IS will get new motors at the time it gets refreshed.

I will have to go back and search again, I hadn't noticed anything about possibly engine choices other than NA being available.
