wish list for 3is
One thing I just found I valued this morning: TRUE TPMS.
I walked out to my car this morning after it'd sat for 2 weeks and it had a Low Tire warning light. "Which one?" I thought. I went outside to look around and frankly none of them looked low - I have 18" wheels with very low profile tires, and none were visibly low, certainly none flat.
I'd given my tire pressure gauge to a friend and thought the IS must display the tire pressures on the the gauge cluster display. My 2003 E55 had TPMS which actually displayed the tire pressure for each tire on a display in the center of the gauge cluster. However, I found that there was no way to display this, it only showed when a tire was low.
I went to a gas station and used their gauge to determine the front two tires were low but not flat. I'm hoping it's not a wheel/tire issue and won't repeat, but we'll find out shortly.
In any case, I want the 3IS to have an actual TPMS which will display the tire pressures for you instead of just when one falls below the "Low Tire" threshold.
Do other Lexus models have this?
