Oh boy, let me do my list in the correct form this time...
1. Don't release 3IS until maybe 2014...2015 is more preferable
2. Minor updates only until then....
3. Keep the value of my 2IS high =)
4. Thank you very much Lexus Corporation!!! Please listen to me only. =)
1. Better cup holders
2. More rear leg room
3. 12" screen with 3D Google maps or intergrated Ipad for stereo/AC/Nav control
4. 10-20 more HP
5. Electronic parking brakes
6. Softer plastics
7. Thicker carpets/floor mats
8. 19" wheels as option
Considering that the BMW's new 3 series is right around the corner, we should expect the 3IS sometime in the next 2 years (my guess). As much as the 2IS was an improvement over the 1IS, there's always room for improvement and the list below are some of the things that I'd like to see.
1. sportier styling/more masculine styling as the 2IS has been accused on many occassions as being a check car (no offense)
2. offer a double clutch option
3. offer a true sport option
4. bring back active headlights
5. make the car just a tad larger (for all of us that need a 4 door because of kids but love the sport car/sedan segment)
6. offer more interior color options, instead of black, tan, and grey. (take a page from BMW and Mercedes)
7. offer a better designed/looking steering wheel (it just doesn't look sporty)
Super wish list...
1. incorporate a sequential turbo like the Supra TT had back in the days for a mid-life refresh and offer it as an "f sport" option
2. make the next gen is-f with a 4.3 v-8 turbo or 4.0 inline 6 twin turbo
Don't agree with #5, that's what the GS is for. No need to make bulky cars bulkier. Remember the 5 series from say 15 years ago or so? Yeah, the 3 series today is that size and the 5 series grew to 7 series size and 7 series today is a boat. Do we need to continue this trend? I don't think so. Buy GS.

I think the current 2IS is just too small. The rear seat room is almost nonexistent. I'd say I'd like the car to be between the size of the current 2IS and the GS. I don't want it to be as big as the GS but it really needs to increase in size.
1. Coupe!!!
2. DCT option (at least for F-sport model) with real paddle shifters
3. 8-speed transmission
4. More and/or two-tone interior color choices (eg red seat w/ black interior or two tone seat color etc)
