Performance exhaust question
I just got my 2026 IS 350 Fsport a couple of weeks ago. I had the performance exhaust added. Supposed to help low end power. Has anyone seen actual performance numbers? BTW, the ASC works completely different from previous models. You select low/medium/high in vehicle settings then the drive mode determines what the sound is like. In sport + you get a distinct crackling sound when you decelerate. So you can make it as loud as you want without bothering the neighbors since it’s all generated by your sound system.

Heard it in action on several online reviews. I think it's pretty cool that it's only inside and not outside. Fun for the driver and pity for the general public.
My question is, is the 2026 system louder than the 2023 system in the highest setting?

Definitely yes
And the sound is more interesting. At idle, it has kind of a throb to it. And then, as I mentioned, when decelerating from higher rpm’s, it makes kind of a crackling sound. Combined with the sport exhaust, it is definitely LOUD.
