2016 blank screen but radio works

2016 blank screen but radio works
Got into a fender bender. Everything worked fine when I dropped it off at the body shop. When I picked it up, the screen was black. Radio works fine. Repair shop said it must have died while they had it, just a coincidence. The repair was just to the front end, new bumper, light, etc.
All fuses checked out fine.
screen remains black no matter what, doesn’t work as a reverse camera or anything.
any ideas? It’s the standard radio, not the Mark Levenson and it does not have navigation.

Disconnected the negative battery cable for 10 minutes or so.
Hit the start button without having my foot on the brake and viola...The screen is now working!
