Fix for C2126 TPMS code?
Hey guys,
Just put new Tyres on all four corners and got an alignment done with new TPMS sensors installed. I asked the shop to program the sensors for the car and when I picked it up no TPMS light was on the dash. When on a 20+ minute drive two days after and lo and behold the TPMS light came on blinking 1+ minute and stayed on. Scanned it and the code is C2126 : Transmitter ID not received main mode. And the sensor readings are at ‘N/A’ on live data. Do you think I have to get a proper TPMS programming tool to fix this? Thinking about getting an Autel MaxiTPMS (TS508WF) to fix it? Just wanted to know anybody had a similar experience.
Cheers

The shop likely didn't properly register the new sensor IDs to the car's ECU. A C2126 code means the car is looking for the old sensors. A proper TPMS tool like that Autel is exactly what you need to fix it yourself. It's a common issue after sensor replacement.

The code is still there. Kind of wondering whether my new sensors are the proper frequency. Got the 315MHz ones and my key fob frequency is also 315 MHz. Did the relearning procedure with the Autel but the C2126 code is still there. The Autel verifies the Sensor IDs are matching with the ones stored in the ECU as well. Kind of hit a wall here.
Should I replace them with 433MHz ones?

I found mixed information about the frequency when I was looking for the sensors. Many sources said it is usually the key fob frequency. Will post an update when I install the new set of sensors.
Hi guys,
Replaced the TPMS sensors with 433MHz and after reprogramming TPMS light and the DTC went away.
Cheers
