Buying an IS200t
Hey there guys, im looking for a is200t to buy in europe but i have a couple questions as this is my first time looking into any lexus model
What options/packs should i look for?
Is the standard sound system good or is the upgraded that much better?
Did these ever come with interior ambient lighting as an options?
Do all 2016+ models have carplay or just 2021+? And can i buy the updated infotainment system and throw it in?
Do you guys know of any tuners in Europe that can tune these with great results and reputation?

Then, before any tuning, install a plug-n-play throttle device to get rid of the stupid lag. I use SprintBooster.
ECU tuning. Go with D3 Performance. Even though they are from US, you buy from Europe the Tactrix OBD -original! Then buy from D3 the software and do it yourself - use Windows laptop!!!
Dont use piggy-back device to trick the ECU. It's giving a strong boost initially, but it's far from what you get with D3 ECU Tune.
Regarding the Car Multimedia - either use phone with a nice holder or go with the ones tested here. I am fine with my phone but if I were to get a unit for CarPlay, I would get the one with Linux.
Lastly, this car needs good service maintenance. Oil changes 2 times a year or every 7-8000 km, if you plan to keep it for long. Brake pads, Textar dont last long - 10-15k KM max. But they are the ones to use for sporty driving. Rear diff oil, change every year if driven hard. Spark plugs, more often when tuned...
If you love the car, it will love you back.
