Hi all, my IS350 started making a continuous beeping noise. The sound continues even after the vehicle is turned off and locked. The sound started randomly when my passenger got in the vehicle and then I turned the car one. The beeping lasted my entire 10 minute drive home. Then persisted after turning off the car. The car only has 16000 miles and it’s a 2024.
I made a video so that you can hear the sound. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Are you the original owner? Sounds like maybe an aftermarket alarm system, waiting to be armed or disengaged.

I finally figured it out. It was driving me insane. I was just about to bring it back to the dealer.Originally Posted by kj07xk

Yes I am the original owner. You were actually pretty close. However it’s a factory or should I say PIO option on the car that can be equipped on both Toyota and Lexus. Anyone else want to take a guess?

Could it be the dashcam? I had that happen when the files on the SD card were corrupt, and I had to reformat the SD card to resolve the issue.Originally Posted by flowfaster

Bingo. I took the memory card out. Reformatted the card and reinstalled. Beeping gone!Originally Posted by arentz07

I honestly forgot it was there. When searching for info on “beeping” noise online I got 100s of threads on everything from door chimes to turn signals but nothing on the Dashcam lol.
Maybe we can leave this thread archived in the hopes that it helps a panicked soul. Thanks all.
