Default shipping company recommendations?

there’s a chance i may end up purchasing my vehicle out of state. with that being said, any recommendations for shipping companies?? TIA!

In both cases that I had a car shipped to me, I used the shipping company that the particular dealer recommended, as they had used in the past and had good results. If you’re buying from a dealer, check to see if they have a shipper they have used in the past with good results.

Flying and driving the car back is almost always cheaper, and more fun. Think about it if you can I’ve done that three of four times.

TBH, the company is not so critical. I’ve been involved in shipping three times, a motorcycle cross country, a new ES from Fla to Seattle, and a classic MB SL from CO to Seattle. Each time everything went just fine. The thing is, the company works with sub-contractors and independent owners who actually do the job. It’s not “really” the company doing the job with employees. BUT: people who do this generally are very careful and know what they are doing.

i thought about it, but do NOT want rock chips and debris all over my front end on the way home.
