When the stereo first went out we tried all the tricks on the forum and none of them worked. Unfortunately my only choice was to buy a used one knowing it might go out, a new one from Lexus at the cost of a new car or have it repaired. I chose www.oemautoaudio.com and I have to say Joe was great and when I received the stereo it wall worked great except for NO SOUND. Well after testing I concluded the Amp had also gone out so off to Joe again for repair. I cannot stress enough how great they were and everything was very timely and I can now drive around with some tunes. Feel free to try all the tricks and tips on the Forum, but in the end none of them worked for my situation. Removing the amp and stereo is pretty easy and there are videos probably here and all over YouTube that make it really easy.

Hope this helps someone as it was really frustrating to learn Lexus never did a recall and how many models have had this problem.
