It's located within the cluster on the main PCB. From memory it's a microchip 93C66
theres an opening for the rear of the cluster but couldn’t see the PCB there. So does cluster need to be dismantled from the front to gain access to it? On the rear there’s a lot of the servos and cogs related to the moving panel

Yes it most definitely needs the clock removing from the car and dismantling. Not for the faint hearted. The pcb is inside the unit and almost as big as the unit itself. The Eeprom your looking for is on it.
