Default Did your ignition coils ever wear out ?

So I have 80K since purchase on my IS200T 2016 3rd Gen . I noticed engine is slower to respond in recent times and had a few misfires.

Diagnosis said misfire on cylinder 2. Bought aftermarket cheap Ignition Coils which led to stuttering, hiccups.

But feeling sad about having to spend $400 on new OEM coils.

Moved your thread to the 3IS forum, where you'll likely get more relevant responses.

I've never had an IS, but I did have to replace the ignition coils on my 2007 RX350.

I had to replace an ignition coil on my 07 rx as well. I had a code that indicated failure on one coil. I would not replace as preventative maintenance...
