I've been trying for days now to get the wipers into service mode. I followed every video tutorial and called lexus but no one can tell me what's going on. I did it by accident one day and can't seem to get it to happen again. Is there a specific procedure to get it into service/winter mode thay differs from all other models. Maybe someone can help .

Reason: More specific

What are you trying to do? What's the need for a service mode?
Maybe you’re asking about a function my old ES300 had, where you could change the wiper parking position, such that the wiper arms parked a couple inches higher on the windshield to make it easier to clear snow in the winter (you couldn’t actually raise the arms off the glass when in the lower parked position because the hood was in the way).
That’s not necessary on my IS, as the arms aren’t blocked by the hood. I don’t know if that higher parking position is even available on my IS. (On my ES, you would manually give the driver side wiper arm a tug in the upward sweep direction, and both arms would click into to upper parking position. To return to the lower position, you would push the arm down toward that lower position and then they would both click into place).

On my '24 ES350 Lux when you shut the engine off and then hit the wiper lever, the wipers will make a 1/2 sweep and stop. That allows the wipers to be lifted up for snow removal. My '13 ES350 Lux had the summer and winter wiper positions you describe.
