Hey y’all, been having issues with my AC recently, and looking for a fix.

make : 2018 IS300 rwd
Problem is :

AC has a slight delay before turning on (about 45sec - 1 minute) and it doesn’t flow through central or passenger vents, and the only place where air flows through is the defroster vents. AC works fine but appears to be blocked, (can audibly hear it blowing).

Troubleshooting :

So far, I’ve tried disconnecting the battery, and ran the AC diagnostic codes + resetting them. Checked all the fuses as well, and they were fine.

Initially the codes ran as 42, 43, and 46. After I reset it, the codes that showed were only 42 and 43. Any solution?


I’ve looked into previous forums and threads, but they were all 12+ years old, and I’m looking for any possible solutions. Could it be a servo motor issue? It just randomly stopped working on start up one cold morning. (Prior to this.. the night before, I did drop a 12mm socket into the engine bay, would that have an effect..?)
