Hey everybody, I’ve been scrolling through different posts and haven’t had much luck with my issue. I hit the reset button under the dash while the car was running on the battery. I’ve read after seeing the light blink 3 times I should turn my car over and let it sit 20 minutes to let it recalibrate. I’m not sure of how true this is. Can anyone back this? Am I doing it wrong?
Another method I’ve read is to drive to let the sensors calibrate and that didn’t work.
I’m also going to try to fill my tires with air while waiting and see if that works.
I usually take my car to the shop and let them take care of it (probably should just do that), but I want to learn how to do it myself. Any help would be appreciated.
Sat for 30 minutes. No change in my dash. Filled the tires with a little bit of air to the factory recommended 36 psi (they were at 35). Still nothing. I sat for about 10 more minutes defeated. Turned my car off and then turned it back on. I now have tire pressure readings. What did I do right? No clue. Let me know and the community know if you know please.
Weird it’s at 34 after I filled to 36 but it works so I’m not mad.
I will update if it changes.

Woke up this morning and back to the dashes. My best guess now is that the tpms is slowly failing. I’m at work right now, but later today I will try to hook my obd2 to it and see if anything pops up.
Do you need to drive the car for TPMS to register the new tire pressure ? I am not a lexus owner just guessing and have seen this in oher cars
I have tried that method, and it didn’t work. What did work was resetting on the battery, turning the car over, letting it run for about 20 minutes, airing the tires, turning it off and then turning it back on. But now I’m back to having dashes so my best guess is I have weak sensors and need to replace them.
I'm having an AC issue with one of the motors not moving the flapper back to the front vents....in conjunction to TPMS not working on my new to me '15 IS350. I'm going to try and disconnecting the battery when I get home from work and see if that does anything to fix either one of these problems. Thanks for the post, I will follow up with an update good or bad.
The car needs to be driven so the sensors through out a signal and the ECU sees each location however on older sensors and cold weather the dashes might stay on until the tires heat up. The orange tire light should come up if the tires are actually low.
