What do you all do with your phones? Where/what kind of mounts do you use. The interior layout doesn't leave many options imo. I have a cup holder mount but I don't like taking up one of the cup holders but I don't see where else to mount it

 

Depends what kind of phone you have, but if any iPhone 12 or newer below will apply for you.

3M tape that came with it is very strong, I’m using it since October 2023 and survived NJ winter and summer (10F to 100F temps) and doesn’t look like it will fall off anytime soon! I routed cable to USB port so it can wirelessly charge my iPhone as well, but that’s an option as cable is detachable so you don’t have to use it.

 

I went with something similar, except I use vent holder. Had it a couple weeks, very solid, very happy.

This is what i have. Works well. Has the charging cord but i hate giving up my cupholder. I like your set up too. Im trying to not cover up buttons/access as much as possible as well...

 

I have and highly recommend
Its offset so it doesn't block airflow. I have it mounted on the passenger center. Plenty of room to reach all of the buttons, doesn't block anything, and once its mounted properly, does not move at all.

Definitely a weak spot on the interior. I would even settle for a little slot to drop my phone into.
Is it possible to replace that blank spot where it says Mark Levinson / HD Radio with a little well?

 

 

I had the same idea but apparently there is some electronic elements behind it (no space) - i wish they made some well there

Option that I provided doesn’t block access to any buttons even with Pro Max devices. Passenger still can use heating/ventilating seats button without issues (yes, technically YOU as a driver can’t press it because phone is covering them from your side but passenger can press them easily from their side).

 

i like your setup as well. I have a larger phone that is weighty. I dont know if i want to put that stress on the vents.

 

I've always liked ProClip mounts. Just wish they had a better option without covering up the vent. It's paired with the Scosche MagSafe mount and hidden USB-C power output.
