Default 3is rant

Am I the only one that can't get more than 6 quarts out of the engine every oil change? It says 6.8 for AWD with oil filter, but I've never seen it.

The oil dip stick is so all over the place that I'm ultra conservative about overfilling, because I've done it before. I put 6 quarts in and maybe the dip stick shows halfway between the two dots on the dip stick?? Hard to tell. I almost always overshoot it if I try for more than 6 quarts.

They need to reengineer that stupid dip stick.

Ive done 3 oil changes on my 2017 is300 awd. I’ve found myself struggling to get the oil level spot on also. I’ve been putting 6 1/4qts and living with it not really sure if it’s slightly overfilled.

I went with 6 (again) and it shows 75% full when cold. Who knows...
