Default Throttle Body Spacer - worth it?

Hello,

Recently on Afe Power website I found this Throttle Body Spacer:

https://afepower.com/afe-power-46-38014-silver-bullet-throttle-body-spacer

I already have their intake system, but never had experience with the throttle body spacers yet. Is it worth it? What does it do exactly and what are the benefits?

The theory behind them is they straighten out the air that comes in from the air filter before it enters the throttle body. They claim that the air just bounces around and isn't consistent entering the throttle body without this spacer. This spacer forces the air into a uniformed almost turbine effect resulting in better performance and mpg...put one on my 94 Z28 but didn't notice anything. Never seen any real testing done before and after installation.
