WONDERFUL! I am posting on what seems like every platform that you have showed this on. Since this post has all the information (more than reddit and the other I found), I'll post here so it might help others some of the questions I ask.

Again, thank you for posting this. You've given me about 90% of the information that I was "wondering" about but had zero confirmation on.

I want to add power folding mirrors to my 2016 CT200h. The mirror housings are the same as what you posted. As such with the CT's in the USA, we have hardly any options. My mirrors are ONLY heated. I don't have BSM, or any other auto dimming, etc.

From what I read, and thought was correct was that the JDM motors do NOT bolt up to our stock mirror bases? However, reading what you are stating, as long as you de-pin the JDM mirror completely AND de-pin your stock mirror you are then able to completely bolt the JDM motor onto the stock mirror base housing (part that has 3 bolts that bolts directly to the door/car), Do I have that correct? I also read that JDM mirrors fold at different angles but from your video it looks like both mirrors fold the same (which is good), is that true?

The black part that the mirror housing attaches to I thought would NOT line up at all. IE: IF you try any bolt your mirror housings onto the black mirror motor arm it doesn't line up? I bought JDM mirror housings and they did not bolt up to my LHD black mirror arm base. The mirror housings were at a different angle. So I assumed that the black mirror housing arm of a JDM mirror would not be able to accept a non JDM mirror housing.... I am not clear, did you use the JDM black mirror housing arm or did you use yours from the car and bolt it onto the actual JDM motor? ( I hope I am making sense). I can attach pictures.

IE: The above picture. Did you use your black mirror arm that came with your Canada spec car onto the JDM mirror motor OR, did you use the JDM black mirror arm?

The wiring seems to make sense to me as I would have never figured that out at all... however can it be simplified? IE: I simply want to fold them in and out while the car is on. Does one need all three relays or can you simply use one to do that? I'm asking because I genuinely don't know. It seems like as you have them wired you have way more options (which is nice), I just want basic. I push the button and the mirrors fold in. If I press the button again they fold out. I don't need anything auto folding or unfolding if I lock/unlock the car. I'm simply trying to cut down on any extra things. Is this something that you might be able to help with in terms of how to wire it differently with relays?

I am sure I will have more questions but I'm totally stoked! I already have JDM mirrors coming from Japan. Ideally if I could use the OEM switch that already has a push button to fold the mirrors in and out would be awesome! This is what the switch looks like:

On our CTs in the USA we only have 9 wires going into the stock switch. The above has 11 pins. And below you can see the 11 pin wiring harness (snipped of course). I don't mind using relays but there has to be a way to link the push button on this switch to the relays that you are using right?
JDM/Rest of world back of switch/wiring:

USA spec switch with 9 wires.

So I would imagine that since I am missing two wires in my harness, I could use the power folding mirror switch then just use the two blank spots that in my harness and have those wires going to relays that then would power the mirrors to fold and open.
