Default Ac servo recall

So all of my AC airflow has stopped on my 2014 IS 250 F Sport (99k miles). I got the CSP notice in '21 but the car wasn't showing any of the symptoms then so I didn't take it in.

I know that I'm beyond the CSP qualifications in time for both primary and secondary coverage, but within the miles limit. Dealership quoted me $3,400 to replace all servos and a local shop quoted me $1,700 to fix the problem servos (3). Any chance Lexus might honor the CSP if I call Customer Relations?

@Apocballer did the dealership formal diagnose and see that all of your servo motors were faulty or just gave a general quote for replacing all? There might be recalibration they can do for a cheaper price which may help.

I've mentioned previously - it doesn't hurt to bring up the service campaign to your dealership or corporate to see if they can honor a fix. Worst case, they say no and you can decide to move forward with the local shop if you feel the dealer is overcharging.

You posted in the 4th Gen GS forum. You have a IS 250.

I rather doubt you'll have any luck at all. Others have tried and failed so I wouldn't expect you'll be any different.

Find an independent shop that caters to Lexus owners and they might have a Lexus trained tech that has experience in dealing with the servos and can perform some magic and re-initialize/reconfigure the servos electronically with some equipment he may have access to. Chances are highly unlikely the servo motors have actually failed - maybe one but not all of them. It may be a physical problem with just one damper door stuck in the duct on some trash from not changing the cabin air filter as recommended which can upset some other servos to not work. But if I had to guess I'd say it is a just a matter of getting the servos to react to the signals the HVAC sends them.
