Default Is 300 not starting

Long story short my lexus is 300 had an Altenator issue, with the help of a diy I found here me and my friend was able to change . Now the engine won't turn over. On cold the car would start with a jumper pack but after that if I where to turn it on again it won't start up

These are not signs that your alternator is working, these are signs that your battery has just enough charge to power these things, but not enough to turn over the engine on a cold start. It sounds like your battery is dead. If you haven’t replaced it in over 2 years I’m sure that’s the problem

So now iv got a new alternator and a new battery, so it has to be the starter right?
i guess ill hire a mechanic cause getting under the car to test the starter is kinda tricky without the right equipment.

Also just wounding if this might be the issue, When i was changing the alternator all the reference material and videos iv watch where on xe20 models and none of them had there ecm disconnect but since was haveing a hard time reaching the 12mm nut in the back i just totally decided to remove the ecm entirely. so could this be the cause of my problems?

no crank no start, correct? you should have a full time power at starter and the starter case(body) is the ground. you also have a smaller gauge wire that goes to starter. that wire should have 12 volts when the key/push button is starting the car. if you have all those then it needs a starter.

After all that work trying to pull it my self autozone tech gave it a green light and says everything fine.

So I just put it back but still notings cranking I do however here a intermittent ticking sound from it.

So update on my car after sending it to a mechanic is burnt-out ecu. As for the explanation on how is nobodies guess it could of been the new altanator or from me jumping the car the pass few weeks but burnt ecu was the cause. Car works fine now🫡

I'll hold on to the starter and altanator I bought cause I know imma need it eventually
