Default Tire and wheel coverage

Hey all I just got a 2023 IS 350 F sport. I was offered a few tire and wheel packages, of course, and wanted some feedback. Has anyone purchased it, used it? Do you recommend? The cost would be $950 total on a 36 month lease.

Personally, if its a lease I wouldn't purchase it unless I plan to buy the car after the 36 month period. If you think it's worth the peace of mind, I would negotiate with the dealer who is selling you the warranty and get the price lower

You can get road hazard coverage on all 4 OEM tires for $200 at Discount Tire and they’ll repair or replace a blown tire no questions asked. And the wheel coverage from Lexus only covers cosmetic damage, not wheels that get ruined by potholes from what I understand.

Essentially you’re paying $750 for three years of curb rash protection. And from what I understand the dark chrome can’t even be matched anyways.

And Discount Tire is everywhere compared to Lexus dealerships.
