Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what the issue might be with my '14 is350. Had the following work done at the lexus dealer:
1) fuel pump recall
2) trans pan gasket replacement
3) new spark plugs

Got the car back and vehicle accelerated poorly in normal automatic. Also very sluggish in Sport+ manual w/ paddle shifters. Hiss noise when shifting between gears. When coming to a rolling stop and turn, car would lose power in 2nd gear then jerk hard when trying to accelerate. Downshifts from 3rd to 2nd were also very rough. Returned car back to dealer. Mechanic says they forgot to put enough transmission fluid in. Dealer topped off transmission fluid and returned car.

Hiss noise between gear shifts and jerking when down shifting is now gone, however acceleration is still bad. In short, car doesn't pull the way it used to. Downshift throttle blips in Sport+ are also nonexistent. Exhaust sounds somewhat muted.

Returned car to dealer again and they said they can not do anything as no error codes are showing.

Any ideas? Improper fuel pump install? Thanks

 

At this point, I would complain to big Lexus about the issue. If the car was performing fine before they touched it, and now it's not good, that suggests to me that the dealership did something wrong.
