Default Need help identifying a sensor

Hello everyone,

New to the forum, and have been referencing article on this site. I recently changed my spark plugs on my 2016 IS300 and on the final bolt holding the coil pack on the driver's side furthest from the firewall I seemed that have broken a sensor. Can anyone please let me know what this is and if anyone has a part number? Also, I'm guessing that I have to take out the intake manifold to be able to fully remove it in order to replace? Was I wrong on my model to not remove the intake manifold for spark plugs in the first place because that final bolt was on pretty tight and my control clearly wasn't in place as I caused this damage to happen.

Thanks in advance,
Marc

It's the sensor that has the crack with exposed yellow part being held inside a metal case.

This is the 2 prong piece that broke off from the front

And the back.

I'm roughly 75% certain that that is the upper VVT Solenoid. You said the driver side so that's the left side, pretty sure the part number you want is 15340-0P020. And no there was no need to remove the intake manifold to do spark plugs. Stuff happens sometimes no big deal.
