HELP! broken sensor. What is it? and part number?
Hi everyone,
I was changing my spark plug on my 2006 IS 350 and accidentally broke a sensor. I think it's an oil control valve but I don't know what the part number is. Can someone help me identify? Its located in the picture right next to my finger.

Thanks guys! I got a replacement but it looks like I have to remove the intake manifold to install the new one. I tried a search but couldn't find a tutorial on an I350 intake manifold removal...only for the IS250. Is it the same?

Very similar.
It's been a few years since I've worked on them but once you pull the intake boot, there should be a few nuts and bolts (I think the bolts were allen) holding the upper intake down. There also is a bracket on the back side of the intake between the intake and the firewall that's kind of hidden from view but you can feel it pretty good. Don't remember about any electrical connectors though.

Great news. It was easy to change. I took off the top bolts and nuts on the intake manifold, and the one behind the throttle body. I was able to lift the manifold just enough the slip out the broken sensor and the new one in. Thanks, all
