Has anyone had any experience with nos on their IS? I've seen a couple clips of fbo is350's on stock fuel and 100 shot nos running 380 whp. Also seen someone in Hawaii running 35 shot. Based on these numbers and only spending max like 3000 with installation and kit I'd say its worth it, but then again I really don't know much about NOS, its side effects, and how to maintain them. Hoping to start a nice thread about people who have used NOS in the past, or any input and opinions you guys have on the use of NOS.

Running the nitrous set up is relatively easy. Its pretty much like setting up a sound system tbh. I ran my nitrous like behind the battery through the rubber grommet. Had to remove the back seats to get the line through to the trunk. Ran the power wire through the same grommet to the driver side switch panel to a toggle on switch. Run another power wire from there back out to the solenoid where ever you mount it. A ground wire from the solenoid to a good body ground. My nitrous is button activated and i only use it right after i launch at the track. I do run a dry 35 shot of nitrous on my current lexus is350 runs 13.2 in motor in hawaii weather and my pb on the bottle is 12.8 any other ?s fam ill do my best to help out
Thankyou man I appreciate the response, you're the NOS build in Hawaii I was referring to, have you tried running anything larger than 35 shot, how often do you use your nitrous, have you felt any difference in reliability, and do you need any specific tuning for the nos?

Well i just had my first race of the year last night. So i decided it was time to hit it up with a 75 shot. It is still a dry set up which now has a purge valve and a WOT switch mounted to the gas pedal. This main run right here broke all of
my previous PB’s 0-60 4.4 sec with a 1ft rollout is 4.24 sec, 60ft was 1.8 and my ET was 12.68 @ 108 mph. I was also on VP racing ms103 which will be my last time using it since its cheaper for me to just to use vp octanium. Now that i have a 10lb bottle i should be able to get 10 full passes on 75shot with a bottle heater as well. Overall a dry shot set up is no harder than setting up a sound system lol. For me i took my sweet *** time beacuse i wanted it to look like i dont have nitrous until you remove the plastic engine cover
