Default Lexus replacement part websites

I had to admit my ignorance when it comes to the "tuner world". I come from Ford/GM and finding replacement parts like AC Delco and Dorman is somewhat second nature.

My wife has a 08 IS250 AWD and I just went through a front swaybar replacement since it rusted and broke. I sourced new bushings/endlinks from Rock Auto. The swaybar came from LexusPartsNow and I have also used parts.lexus.com since RA didn't carry the swaybar.

In planning to maybe need additional parts like rear suspension toe links/bushings/sensors/bolts etc where are some decent websites to use? Also, what brand names are "OEM-like" replacement parts for Toyota/Lexus?

Thanks!

You got all the right sources. I use Rock Auto and those online Lexus parts stores. I also rely on my dealer, as their pricing for some things are very competitive. I'm in Canada so pricing sucks big time.

boy does pricing in canada suck!

the lexus dealer in my city is a straight rip off. every time i think... maybe it wont be to expensive from the dealer. I call them and find out its two to three times the price i thought it would be.

I wanted a key fob and key for the 07 is250 i just bought. shouldn't be more then $300-$500 right? wrong quoted at $1000.

New dash for the is250 because the one in the is IS cracking. well maybe it will be $800 right? or at worst $1000 right!? wrong quoted at $2000

I used to think it was just because my old gs300 (which was really a toyota airsto) was jdm spec and that was why they would quote me so high. Clearly that is not the case.

Thanks guys. I do like some of these Lexus sites that give you exploded views of all PN's etc.

A word of advice, most actual Toyota Lexus dealers have pretty good customer service. I ordered an F-Sport swaybar kit from Lexuspartsnow and it came with the wrong bushings. It took 5 or 6 weeks to resolve whereby I order from my local dealer and had the parts in a few days as I gave up on an actual resolution...

Great pricing but ultimately the WORST customer experience ever. Point, if something can go wrong with your order, buy elsewhere!

Do search, there are lists of good places out there...

Try online with your local dealer. I had to replace my MAF sensor last week and online the price was $135. I tried to go in person to buy it the next day and they quoted me $265 dollars. I showed them their site and they said I had to order it online and ship it. Lexus is stupid with their customers. That’s what I did and got it the next day overnight. So you will probably get better prices online from your local dealer.

in my case it's basically an online form that requests a quote. no actual ordering. IT Sucks!

You need to be looking at their online parts store. I think if you dont you get thier regular service parts request form.

Back in the days Sewell Lexus was one of the best .... fast forward today, and it seems some dealers are starting to follow in thier footsteps.

Here are 2 great locations to order from:

https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com/

https://www.lexussouthatlantaparts.com/

You got my hopes up for a few minutes there....

That is until I tried to order a part and was met with this msg,

"Because of increased costs to process and ship International orders, we have a $999999.99 minimum on all International orders.

Please add $999710.64 to your order before proceeding."

My go-to for OEM parts is Bell Lexus. Their pricing is very competitive and usually beats!

If you want alternate options, then RockAuto is great!

You're receiving that message during what part of the checkout process?
Contact the following at Hilton Head Lexus for assistance with placing an order;
Ren Perez rperez@cplexus.com / (843) 705-3987

You should be using lexuspartsdirect.ca

They are reasonable in pricing compared to going direct to a dealer, for something like a key fob there will be about $20 shipping then it still needs to be programmed.
