Default Front driver actuator

I have a 2008 is250. The front drivers side actuator went out. Rolled the dice and bought an ebay actuator for $39. Took it to first place they wanted 250 for labor. Second place 200. Third place they wanted $120. He was the most knowledgeable of the 3. He explained that the new lock needed to open when scanning the key in the handle and also when taking the car out of park all locks needed to close. He said it sometimes the 5 point locks doesn't work with the ebay part but he'll give it a shot. Luckily I paid the $120 and all the functions work. The only slight difference I would say is the new ebay door actuator makes the handle slightly stiffer meaning it requires a slight bit more pressure to open the handle from the inside or outside. This is probably due to it being an aftermarket part however I think it was worth saving $300.
