Default Octane Booster Damage Engine/White Grey Exhaust

I got the RR ecu tune a few months ago, engine is running great I do feel the extra power and punch. Sometimes the idle is unsteady and drops but otherwise ok.

RR suggests using octane booster for max performance so Ive been switching between the STP and Gumout boosters, not sure if it makes much difference.

Ive read good and bad things about octane boosters, not sure if prolonged use will have any negative effect on the engine, I do notice that when using the booster the exhaust smoke is more white/grey-ish in color, I hope its the booster and not something else!!

I hear that those octane boosters will foul your spark plugs. You should stop using them.

If you have a Sunoco gas station near you - just fuel up there. They have higher octane fuels than normal gas stations.

I hope your joking, octane boosters should not be used with every tank. If you want increased octane you should just add a few gallons of e85 with every tank. Its safe and burns cleaner anyways.

Don't use them. And Don't listen to RR on this. It will mess up your spark plugs and yeah, i'm pretty sure the white smoke is no bueno too. IF you've been doing this with every tank for the past few months, I'd stop immediately on the octane boosters. Go back to Premium fuel and dont add anything else into the fuel tank.
