Default LC500 Push Start/Stop Button Swap

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2010 ISF, looking to swap the push star/stop button with an LC500 version. I notice the pins are different for the push start/stop button in the 2nd gen 2006-2013 model. The female pin connector is a row of 7 on top and 7 on the bottom, and the male connector are 7 pins on the top row and 4 pins on the bottom. The LC500 version has 5 pins on top and 3 on the bottom, and I am wondering if it will fit in the 7 pin top/7 pin bottom Push Start/Stop button socket on the 2nd Gen IS. Can someone let me know if the LC500 version will fit? If not, can I just swap the ring and plastic button cover from the LC500 to the 2nd gen IS250/350/F button housing? Please see below thanks.

I believe you need an adapter or harness since they don't look compatible in terms of plug and play.
