Riddle Me This (Diag Help/Advice needed)
Okay, so the basics of my problem. During an interstate drive, I noticed a very slightly but apparent "hiccup" either transmission or engine related, kind of felt like a miss fire but also felt like a momentarily slip of gear... Now when I say this happened for the first time it was very very mild on a scale of 1-10, probably a 1 or 2 very slight hiccup in the drive.
THEN, I noticed when I pressed the gas and it would drop to hear 5 and back to 6 just fine... But if I applied the gas more abruptly and firmly when it would try to down shift to hear 4, from 6 (70mph speeds) it would pull and then suddenly the RPMs would drop roughly 2k without me changing pedal pressure and kind of hesitate or "skip" made me think the transmission was slipping.... HOWEVER
then I'm going 20mph and said well let's press the gas fully and see what happens the RPMs, reacted normal for a split second then dropped to 1000rpms, gas fully pressed, however at 1000rpms but if I release the gas and gradually press the gas it does just fine.
I'm thinking a faulty fuel injector? Like I've driven the car all day, and it has no issues unless I drive like my grandma would say "pedal to the metal" it gives me issues.
Might I add the car has never had this issue before. Entirely new. Don't ask how many miles I have, y'all will say "*throw the whole car away"* if I tell y'all that... 322k
